Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

- Provide high-quality care to oral, maxillofacial and head & neck cancer patients.
- Participate in the 2-week wait cancer pathway, running a dedicated parallel clinic with a consultant.
- Attend and actively contribute to Head & Neck MDT meetings and post-MDT clinics.
- Ensure patients are appropriately staged and listed for MDT discussion within required timeframes.
- Manage the weekly major head & neck theatre list.
- Undertake middle-grade duties on the maxillofacial rota.
- Train in all aspects of maxillofacial and head & neck cancer surgery, including tumour resection and reconstruction.
- Maintain positive communication with patients to support shared decision-making.
