Established in Canada in 2021, our Canadian branch is expanding steadily. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Operations Specialist to support and strengthen our Canada-based operations, including cross-border and international freight movements between Canada, the United States, and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee daily ocean, air, rail, trucking, and cross-border logistics operations.
- Manage end-to-end import and export shipments for Canada, the United States, and other international markets. Apply working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. import/export procedures, customs documentation, and domestic transportation arrangements.
- Liaise with clients, carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation, including B/L, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, and delivery records.
- Monitor shipment status, identify potential delays or exceptions, and proactively communicate solutions to customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate Canada–U.S. cross-border shipments and work closely with customs brokers to support compliant and timely customs clearance.
- Handle operational escalations, service recovery, and complex customer requirements with sound judgment and professionalism.
- Review freight costs, identify operational risks and cost-saving opportunities,



and support continuous process improvement.
- Provide guidance and operational support to junior team members as the team grows.
- Collaborate with sales, overseas offices, and remote teams to develop practical solutions for customer needs.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Canada-based international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation.
- Solid understanding of Canadian import/export processes, customs clearance coordination, and domestic transportation operations.
- Demonstrated experience handling U.S. logistics operations and Canada–U.S. cross-border shipments, including familiarity with U.S. import/export procedures, CBP-related documentation, customs broker coordination, and U.S. domestic delivery arrangements.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and Incoterms.
- Ability to independently manage multiple shipments, priorities, and operational issues in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal; Mandarin Chinese is an asset for communication with headquarters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; experience with freight forwarding or logistics software is preferred.
- A proactive, accountable, team-oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership and lead by example.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
