Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, prepares and serves food items, and ensures a clean, safe, and efficient setting. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including assembling sandwiches, salads, or other quick-service offerings
- Operate POS systems such as Auphan POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, equipment, and food preparation surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth service flow throughout shifts




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Auphan POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash transactions
- Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or food industry roles is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment
