Cleaning Attendant at Airport Lounge

SkyTeam Lounge – Vancouver Airport

Responsibilities:

- Perform cleaning in the lounge area to include kitchen, shower rooms and washrooms
- Pick up dirty dishes from passenger’s tables
- Ensure showers are thoroughly cleaned after each use. Complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, shall be provided to customers
- Ensure washrooms are clean, smell fresh, and well stocked with paper supplies
- All surfaces are regularly wiped clean, with attention around sink, toilet, drains, group between tiles in order to prevent mold and mildew
- Floors are kept free of dirt and paper, sweeping every hour or as needed
- Vacuum carpet areas regularly as and when needed
- Spot clean walls daily including kitchen
- Sweep and damp mop the buffet floor as needed
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Provide laundry service for bath towels and cleaning cloth
- To dispose of waste, including recycling, compost and trash.
- All services shall be performed on a regular basis to assure superior standards
- Assist in washing, drying dishes and glasses in the kitchen

Requirements:

- Must have open availability (required shift: 15:30-23:30 and 23:30-07:30)
- 1 to 2 years working experience in the kitchen




- Basic English proficiency
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Evening, weekend and holidays work as required
- A versatile schedule is preferred
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Experience working in YVR Airport is an asset
- Food Safety Certified is required

Position Type Full time (40HOURS) and Part time (minimum of 24HOURS)

- Salary: C$20.50 ~21.00 / hour. Salary increase will be reviewed after probation period ends.
- Graveyard shift: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am. Additional $1/hour (night-premium pay)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, have valid work permit.
- Availability requirement: 15:30-23:30 and 23:30-07:30!!
- Required to obtain 5-year security clearance to obtain RAIC in order to work at YVR Airport.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$21.50 per hour
