Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with wound care experience to join our care team. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and passionate about supporting clients in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to clients in their homes
- Perform advanced wound care, dressing changes, and ongoing monitoring
- Complete assessments, medication administration, and chronic disease support
- Collaborate with Care Coordinators and HCAs to deliver client-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare partners
- Ensure all care meets Alberta Health standards and company policies
Requirements
- Active and validCLPNA license
- Demonstrated wound care experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Explicit Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Home care or community nursing experience is an asset
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused
