Lumber Operations Assistant

Entry Level | Full time

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and organized Lumber Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our lumber business. This entry-level position will work closely with our sales, production, yard, and logistics teams to help with orders, shipments, inventory, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Track inventory and movement of lumber products
- Prepare and maintain shipping and order documentation
- Enter and update orders, inventory, and shipment information
- Help resolve day-to-day logistics and operational issues
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and operational records
- Support the operations team with general administrative and coordination tasks
- Learn and understand the lumber supply chain and company operations

What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational and communication skills




- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in logistics, operations, supply chain, or the lumber industry
- Previous lumber or logistics experience is an asset, but not required
