Overview

Join our team as a Lumber Yard Worker/Driver . You will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution, and safely delivering lumber and building supplies to job sites. Your expertise will help ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate order picking, and safe handling of materials

Duties

- Safely load, unload, and organize lumber and building materials using forklifts

- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory, process orders, and manage stock levels accurately.

- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision to ensure timely delivery.

- Drive company trucks or delivery vehicles to transport materials to construction sites or customer locations while adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation.

- Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal operation.





- Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety standards at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or construction environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;

experience operating trucks or delivery vehicles.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.

- Solid skills in order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving processes, and inventory management.

- Prior experience working with forklifts

- Construction background or hands-on experience in building material handling is a plus.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
