ABOUT THE POSITION: Precision Mounting Technologies is seeking a highly adaptable and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role is designed for a "cross-functional" operator who thrives in a dynamic environment and can transition seamlessly between various production stages. As a vital link in our internal supply chain, you will produce the high-quality components that our Assembly team relies on to meet our customer commitments.
Your efficiency and precision directly impact PMT’s ability to uphold our On-Time Shipment goal.
RESPONIBILITIES:
· Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment based on daily production needs, including:
· Basic operation and monitoring of CNC machines.
· Operating band saws to prepare raw materials.
· Performing deburring, tumbling, and surface preparation to ensure parts meet specifications.
· Applying finishes to parts according to PMT quality standards.
· Move fluidly between work centers to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure a steady flow of parts to the Assembly department.
· Inspect parts for defects or irregularities during manufacturing, ensuring all output meets internal engineering tolerances and aesthetic standards.
· Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance; adhere strictly to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
· Maintain accurate production logs and count totals to ensure inventory accuracy within the supply chain.
· Completion of projects/work within tight manufacturing timelines, while maintaining stringent quality standards
· Task completion at a constant/high level of effort and professionalism
· Operating various small machinery when required
· Following directions and instructions from supervisor
· Working within the team, communicating, and maintaining a positive work environment
· Communicating with various departments and supervisors
· Ability to work standing for 8-hour shifts
· Basic computer skills and competence required
· Maintaining and cleaning equipment
· Safety shoes required
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A proven ability to learn multiple mechanical processes and switch tasks quickly without losing focus or accuracy.
· Experience with at least two of the following: CNC milling, band saws, powder coating, or industrial finishing (tumbling/deburring).
· A strong commitment to attendance and productivity to support our shipping deadlines.
· Ability to read basic blueprints or work orders to ensure parts are manufactured to exact specifications.
· Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
