We have an immediate opportunity for a Machine Operator trainee:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Work in compliance with Kubes Steel Inc. Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its Regulations.
- Meet external and internal customer requirements in a timely fashion......
- Read blueprints accurately.
- Manage multiple tasks and assigned sequences within all tolerances and specifications.
- Operate torches, clamping tools and grinders as required.
- Post welding check the sub assembly or assembly to ensure all required completed and within acceptable limits.
- Manage multiple tasks and assigned sequences within all tolerances and specifications
- .training on day shift, then move to afternoon shift
- · operating band saw
- · operating bending machine
- · drilling, using hand drill & drill press
- · operating angle grinder
- · operating chop Saw
- · operating oxy-fuel torches / plasma
- · palletizing, banding & shrink wrapping of finished parts
- · accurately interpret and review work order requirements & drawings
- · keep work area clean through effective housekeeping
- · cleaning of shop when required

Qualification and Skill Requirements

- Takes pride in satisfying customers’ requirements in a team setting.




- Be familiar with processes in an ISO setting.
- Read blueprints accurately.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Wage level to be based on relevant work experience.

Shifts * There are multiple shifts ranging from a 5 day operation to 4 - 10 hour shifts. Days and Afternoons.
