Job Overview FTAI Aviation is seeking a skilled Machinist to support the repair and overhaul of high-value aerospace engine components. In this role, you will work with a variety of CNC and conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment, including advanced multi-axis machining equipment.

You will machine and repair high-precision aerospace components manufactured from hard and difficult-to-machine materials, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision. This position is ideal for a hands-on machinist who enjoys technical challenges and working in a specialized aerospace repair environment.

Compensation The starting salary range for this position is $30.73 to $43.47 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time, and career progression,



hourly compensation may increase to a maximum of $51.21 Employees working the second shift receive an additional shift premium of $1.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC and conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment.
- Set up andoperatemachining equipment to manufacture, repair, and restore high-precision aerospace components.
- Perform basic CNC programming and program edits asrequired.
- Machine hard and difficult-to-machine materials while meeting strict dimensional and quality requirements.
- CAD/CAM experience ( SurfCAM or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.
- Repair and overhaul or tool room experience is considered a strong asset.
- Follow manufacturer's instructions and technical documentation for the repair ofaircraftengine components involving critical dimensional tolerances using conventional or CNC machines.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- May berequiredto transport parts, components, or modules from one workstation or center to another.
- May berequiredto clean, inspect, and repair parts.
- May berequiredto work in another job classification as operational needs dictate.

Qualifications

- Completed diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP), diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC)



or Attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) in Machining or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Be responsible forthe quality and the results
- Display self-reliance and resourcefulness
