Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations across manufacturing facilities, ensuring all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance projects, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities
- Supervising the maintenance staff on performance and efficiency;
Scheduling and ensuring departmental staff complete work orders within the allotted time; Scheduling daily work duties for all staff on a monthly basis, incorporating their days off, statutory holidays, and departmental needs;
Participating in the interviewing process and conducting orientation and training for new employees;
Conducting performance appraisals for all maintenance staff and reviewing them with the employees;
Regularly conducting in-house training for all staff or on an individual basis regarding the handling of mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., boilers, chillers, fire alarm systems, televisions;
Pool and Hot Tub Management
Developing and maintaining a Preventative Maintenance program to ensure all guest rooms are serviced twice per year, keeping a checklist, schedule, and following up on any deficiency problems Overseeing guest room renovation programs,
liaising with contractors and hotel management to ensure their respective needs and schedules are met;
Contacting service contractors such as Plumbers, Electricians, Fire Alarm Co., etc.,,
for regular service and emergencies and checking for the completion of their work;
Prior to service, comparing service quotations to get the most valuable price and reviewing work orders to ensure requests are completed before authorizing the invoice;
Verifying regular inventory of materials and parts to ensure a sufficient supply;
Preparing purchase orders and, where possible, obtaining the most reasonable price;
Organizing maintenance projects with other departments and ensuring projects are progressing according to schedule;
Responding to emergency calls for any problems in the hotel after-hours or on days off;
Adhering to all company policies and procedures related to Health & Safety, in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations;
Working in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety and its regulations by:
Performing workplace inspections;
Conducting information sessions (safety talks, staff meetings, stand-up meetings); incident investigations; Employee training;
Perform employee safety observations; and Reporting any unsafe conditions immediately using maintenance request forms; and Performing such other duties as assigned by the General Manager or his designate.
Pay: $58,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
