Responsibilities

- Verify resource requirements and availability before scheduling planned work and determining work orders with appropriate status.
- Generating and reviewing the schedule with the Maintenance Team to refine details surrounding current conditions and operation to incorporate operational concerns and limitations. Modify schedules if required.
- Releasing all work orders daily for completion to the maintenance leads and trades, ensuring all identified resources are assigned to open work orders
- Maintaining, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials and components for all scheduled work
- Interacting daily with Maintenance Team to ensure schedules are adhered to and modified as necessary
- Interact with 3 rd party vendors for maintenance support.
- Review of completed work orders for recording of required data, planned vs. actual; hours, tools, materials, and safety requirements to identify any required changes or improvements
- Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Be available for on-call operational work based on a predetermined schedule

Qualifications

- College diploma in a related field




- Experience in mechanical work planning in a unionized environment is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Robust organizational skills
- Strong sense of time management to meet maintenance deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure continuity of operations
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situations
- Ability to assume supervisory or management duties
- Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Oracle/E1 experience is an asset
