Join the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation as the Manager of their new Youth Centre in Carmacks. Drive youth development initiatives, staff leadership, and community engagement in a vibrant setting. Opening in late summer 2026, the Youth Centre will focus on cultural, emotional, and personal growth for youth in the community.
As the Manager, your role encompasses oversight of programs, staff mentorship, and collaboration with local partners to enhance youth support services. This position is ideal for those experienced in community-based programming. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily operations and quality assurance of the Centre
- Recruit, supervise, and train staff members
- Assist staff with programming and conflict resolution
- Build partnerships with community service providers
- Monitor budgets and program statistics Requirements:
- Completion of a high school diploma; relevant Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Extensive experience in youth or community services
- Knowledge of LSCFN culture and traditional practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed care Lead the way in creating a supportive environment for youth at LSCFN's current Youth Centre.
