Summary The Manager, Production Finance oversees the day-to-day financial operations for scripted and unscripted productions, supporting production teams through budgeting, cost reporting, tax credits, and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze development and production cost reports.

- Monitor budgets, cash flows, and cost variances.

- Review vendor payments, payroll, and expense reconciliations.

- Set up new productions and ensure compliance with payroll, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare labour schedules and support federal and provincial tax credit claims.

- Provide guidance to production accountants and support production finance operations.

- Collaborate with producers, finance, auditors, and government agencies.

- Assist with month-end reporting, revenue recognition, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation is a robust asset.

- 10+ years of experience in production finance or production accounting within the film, television, or media industry.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

- Advanced Excel proficiency;

experience with Smart Accounting is an asset.
