About SingleTrack

SingleTrack is an operating company that builds and grows businesses across a diverse range of industries.

Our portfolio spans industrial chemicals and water treatment, building materials and furnishings, food manufacturing, and other emerging opportunities. While each business has its own customers, market and brand, they share a common approach: identify opportunities, build solid businesses around them, and execute.

We are looking for a hands-on Marketing & Content Specialist to help tell those stories and support the continued growth of our businesses.

Position Overview:

This is not a narrowly defined social media or communications position.

We are looking for a versatile marketer who can take an idea, product, project or technical concept and turn it into polished, customer-facing content.

One day you may be developing a presentation for an industrial water treatment customer. The next, you could be updating a website, preparing graphics for a trade show, creating social content, or building a product flat sheet.

You'll work directly with SingleTrack's leadership and business teams to translate commercial priorities into effective marketing materials.

The right person is creative, organized, commercially minded and — most importantly — someone who likes to make things and get them finished.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Sales Materials

- Develop customer presentations, pitch decks and corporate presentations
- Create product flat sheets, brochures and capability statements
- Develop case studies and other sales-support materials
- Turn technical or commercial information into clear, compelling customer-facing content
- Maintain templates and ensure materials remain current

Digital & Social

- Develop and manage social content across SingleTrack businesses
- Build and maintain practical content calendars
- Write and create LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant social posts
- Update website copy, imagery, products and landing pages
- Make routine updates within Shopify and other CMS platforms
- Support email marketing and customer communications

Brand & Creative

- Maintain brand consistency across multiple businesses while respecting their individual identities
- Create marketing graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools

- Coordinate product and project photography
- Perform basic image editing and asset preparation
- Work with external designers, photographers, developers and other specialists when required

Trade Shows & Events

- Develop booth graphics and supporting brand materials
- Coordinate presentations, signage, handouts and product collateral
- Support pre-show and post-show communications
- Help ensure our businesses present professionally and consistently at industry events

Marketing Operations

- Maintain organized libraries of logos, photography, presentations, templates and finished collateral
- Coordinate marketing projects across multiple businesses and deadlines
- Work with leadership to prioritize projects based on commercial needs

Candidate We’re Looking For Ideally, you have 3–6 years of hands-on marketing experience in a small or mid-sized company, agency, industrial business, construction/design company, food business or similarly entrepreneurial environment.

You don't need to be an expert in our industries. You do need to be curious and comfortable learning new businesses quickly.

Qualifications:

- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong visual and design instincts
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating sales and marketing collateral
- Experience managing business social media accounts
- Familiarity with Shopify, WordPress or another CMS
- Basic image editing capabilities
- Strong organizational and project-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail

AI fluency matters We actively use AI to improve how we work. You should be comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate research, writing, ideation, content development and day-to-day marketing execution.

We're less interested in how long something traditionally takes and more interested in producing excellent work efficiently.

What Will Make You Successful Here

You're probably a strong fit if you're someone who:

- Prefers doing over delegating
- Can start with a rough idea and turn it into something polished
- Doesn't need a detailed brief for every assignment
- Understands that good marketing ultimately needs to support the business
- Can move comfortably between creative and technical subject matter
- Is comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating quickly
- Enjoys the variety of working across several businesses
- Takes ownership of projects and follows them through to completion

What This Role Is Not This is not a role focused primarily on managing advertising agencies, writing marketing strategies or producing reports about marketing.

It's an execution-oriented position.

We want someone who can sit down and create the presentation, write the copy, update the webpage, build the graphic and get the project across the finish line.

Why SingleTrack

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with company leadership and contribute across several growing businesses rather than being confined to one narrow marketing function.

The variety is significant — and that's intentional.

For someone who is entrepreneurial, creative and commercially curious, this is an opportunity to build a broad marketing skill set while having a visible impact on the businesses you support.
