Title: Capital Markets Analyst - Fixed Income Settlements

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview

Seeking a Capital Markets Analyst with experience in Fixed Income settlements, collateral, reconciliations, and payments. Strong knowledge of Canadian and US Fixed Income markets, including Repo and Securities Lending, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Fixed Income and collateral settlement processes.
- Process Principal & Interest settlements and margin payments under CSA and GMRA agreements.
- Perform account, cash, and depository reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve trade, settlement, system, and reconciliation breaks.
- Process cash settlements using SWIFT MT202/MT103.
- Support process improvements, testing, and project initiatives.
- Maintain procedures and ensure appropriate escalation of issues.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve exceptions and meet SLAs.





Must-Have Skills

- Strong knowledge of Canadian & US Fixed Income settlements
- Settlements and payments experience
- Reconciliations and collateral settlement experience
- Knowledge of Repo and Securities Lending
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

Nice-to-Have

- SWIFT experience
- Loan IQ experience
- Knowledge of CSA / GMRA processes
