Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Window Installer role based in Calgary, AB. The Window Installer is responsible for installing, replacing, and fitting windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring work meets safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring openings, preparing materials, removing old units, installing new products, sealing and insulating around frames, and performing finishing work such as trim and caulking. The role also involves loading and unloading materials, using hand and power tools, maintaining a clean and safe work area,



and reporting any issues or hazards to supervisors. Window Installers interact with customers on-site, provide courteous service, and work with team members to complete projects on schedule and within quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Experience with window and door installation, including measuring, fitting, sealing, and finishing work.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools safely (e.g., drills, saws, levels, caulking guns) and following construction safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic drawings, and manufacturer instructions; strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical ability to lift and move windows and doors, work at heights with ladders or scaffolding, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation issues on-site.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, glazing, or a related trade is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Calgary, AB preferred.
- Willingness to follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and participate in training as required.
