Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts understands your industry and speaks your language.Mission I am currently looking for a Demand Planner for one of my clients operating in the distribution industry, based in Montreal.Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing reliable forecasts to ensure the optimal balance between market demand, product availability, and supply capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, adjust, and maintain demand forecasts for various product categoriesAnalyze sales history, market trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracyIntegrate product launches, marketing campaigns, and commercial initiatives into demand plansActively participate in the S&OP process and contribute to aligning business needs with supply capabilitiesProduce forecast performance analyses, including accuracy and bias indicatorsIdentify gaps, risks,
and opportunities while recommending corrective actions to the appropriate teamsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and shared vision of future demandContribute to the evolution of planning tools, processes, and forecasting methodologiesParticipate actively in the implementation and optimization of ERP solutions and forecasting toolsPromote best practices and support the digital transformation of supply chain operationsYour profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a complex, high-volume environmentHands-on experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning toolsStrong knowledge of environments such as SAP, APO, IBP, Blue Yonder, JDA, or equivalent solutionsExcellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency with ExcelExperience in process transformation or systems improvement projects is considered a strong assetAbility to thrive in a quick-paced, evolving, and performance-driven environmentStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsUniversity degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related fieldBilingualism in French and English is required
