MDA Space seeks a Satellite Flight Software System Engineer to define and implement embedded flight software solutions.

Your role will focus on ensuring the resilience and security of next-gen satellite systems. In this pivotal position, you will manage the architecture and development of Flight Software for communications and remote sensing satellites. Leveraging your experience in aerospace and fault-tolerant systems, you'll collaborate closely with program teams to integrate solutions and address technical challenges.

You'll also play a vital role in verification and software testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

- Map requirements to software modules and maintain traceability
- Define isolation logic and recovery actions for FDIR




- Liaise effectively with stakeholders to resolve integration issues
- Support verification and automation testing of flight software
- Document and control software artifacts within PLM

Requirements:

- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with 10+ years’ experience
- Robust background in real-time systems and programming
- Familiar with JIRA and Confluence for project management
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must hold security clearance for work with Controlled Goods
