Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Helpers and Journeymen to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will assist skilled mechanics in performing repairs, installations, and routine maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities.

Duties

- Journeymen:
- Experience with heavy duty equipment maintenance
- Red Seal and asset
- For Helpers:
- Assist Journeymen mechanics with the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as tightening, loosening, cutting, and assembling components
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and support troubleshooting efforts
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools,



and gathering necessary parts for maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure work environment
- Support the disassembly and reassembly of machinery during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job

Experience

- Basic mechanical knowledge gained through vocational training, apprenticeships, or prior work experience
- Red Seal an asset
- Previous experience required (Helpers : min 3rd year apprentice and for journeymen: 3+ years)
- Experience using power tools including drills, grinders, saws, or similar equipment is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay: $15.00-$45.00 per hour
