I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join a technology-driven company specializing in solutions for the optics and electronics sectors, located in Kirkland. Operating CNC equipment as required by projects.

Performing hands-on assembly, fitting and machining work. Reading and interpreting technical drawings. Creating or modifying technical drawings using SolidWorks. Working closely with R&D;, engineering and laboratory teams to develop solutions based on project requirements.

Performing precise hands-on work in different optical and electronic laboratory environments. Permanent position in a technology-driven R&D; environment. Work focused primarily on precision, quality and tooling development, rather than high-volume production.





Multidisciplinary environment combining mechanical, optical and electronic applications. Prospect to leverage your machining expertise across a variety of technical projects. Your profile Technical or university-level training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanics, Machining or a related field.

CNC machining experience is an asset. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Experience using SolidWorks for technical drawings or design is a strong asset. Highly detail-oriented, precise and comfortable performing hands-on precision work. Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy and attention to quality.
