Job Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Revit Designer with experience in HVAC and plumbing building services design to support the design and drafting of high-rise residential and other building projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated Revit MEP models, mechanical layouts, and construction drawings. This role is well suited to a motivated designer looking to build their technical skills and advance their career in building services engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and develop Revit MEP models and drawings based on sketches, markups, and design requirements.
- Develop HVAC ductwork and plumbing/piping layouts in coordination with architectural, structural, and electrical systems.
- Produce mechanical drawings in accordance with project requirements and established Revit MEP standards.
- Perform duct and pipe sizing in accordance with applicable codes and office standards.
- Coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines and identify potential clashes/interferences.
- Review drawings and models for coordination with ceilings, lighting, structure, architectural components, and other building systems.
- Develop layouts and details for mechanical rooms and service spaces.
- Assist with heating and air-conditioning load calculations.
- Complete assigned Revit and design tasks within project schedules and deadlines.




- Review and coordinate drawings with applicable building codes and project requirements.
- Work under the direction of Project Managers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
- Perform other related technical and drafting duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- 5 years of experience in mechanical building services design.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Revit MEP experience.
- Practical experience with HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Experience developing duct and pipe runs and coordinating mechanical systems with other building disciplines.
- Knowledge of mechanical building services and familiarity with applicable building codes and standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, drawings, and design information.
- Experience with high-rise residential projects is strongly preferred.
- Diploma/college education in Mechanical Building Services, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify coordination issues and clashes.
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven project environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated interest in career development and career advancement.

Additional Requirement

- Candidates must currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and be able to reliably commute to North York, ON.
- Candidates outside the GTA must be willing to relocate before starting.
