JOB TITLE: Medical Aesthetician

LOCATION: Fine Lines, St. Albert, AB

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part Time (Flexible hours, minimum 2 days per week)

HOURS OF WORK: Clinic Hours - 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (varies by day)

COMPENSATION: $21.00 - $26.00/hr Earning Potential with Commission

JOB SUMMARY

As a Medical Aesthetician & Laser Technician at Bios Wellness Clinic, you will deliver advanced skincare treatments and personalized care to clients, maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Proficient in cutting-edge technologies and skincare concepts, you will guide clients towards optimal skin health while collaborating effectively with our team and adapting to the clinic's evolving needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Expertise

- Advanced understanding of skincare products and treatments associated with the ZO skincare line.
- Perform treatments such as Microneedling, Chemical Peels, and Facial Treatments (Hydrafacial or Equivalent)




- Perform in-depth and informative skin consults to help customer along their skin health journey, and refer them to other services within the clinic
- Ability to support customer through the check-in and out process, and support with booking appointments or additional services
- Experience with Zenoti is a plus, but not required

Client-Centered Care

- Deliver a friendly, welcoming, and professional first impression to all visitors.
- Assist with the scheduling and managing of client appointments using the clinic’s booking system.
- Support client inquiries through incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information about services, appointments, and promotions.
- Actively listen to client concerns, assess needs, and deliver customized treatment solutions.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to clinic standards and protocols.
- Provide clients with post-treatment care instructions.
- Offer guidance on daily skincare routines and wellness practices.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client assessments.

Communication

- Communicate complex skincare concepts to clients clearly and effectively.

Product Knowledge and Sales

- Recommend appropriate skincare products to clients.
- Promote clinic services and products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ingredients and their effects.





Attention to Detail

- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, particularly in following safety protocols and accurately documenting client information.

Professionalism and Ethics

- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct, particularly in handling client confidentiality and sensitive information.

- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and recent technologies.
- Flexible to respond to changing client needs and clinic demands.

All other related reasonable duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Education:Certification from an accredited aesthetician program with coursework in dermatology or cosmetology or equivalent work experience.
- Licensure: Valid Aesthetician license in AB, is considered an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or wellness clinic setting preferred.
- Prior experience with Zenoti is a plus but not required – training will be provided.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude.

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- St. Albert, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
