About the Role
Auralia Skin Lab is seeking an experienced, passionate, and client-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team on a part-time or independent contractor basis.
This is primarily a hands-on Medical Aesthetician position. Your main responsibility will be providing qualified skin consultations and high-quality aesthetic treatments. When not performing treatments, you will also assist with front-desk duties, client coordination, and general clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Aesthetic Treatments — Primary Role
- Conduct professional skin consultations and assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on each client’s skin concerns and goals
- Perform high-quality facial, laser, IPL, RF, and other advanced aesthetic treatments
- Recommend appropriate skincare products and home-care routines
- Provide clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and client documentation
- Follow all clinic safety, sanitation, and treatment protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
Client Coordination & Front-Desk Support — Secondary Role
- Assist with appointment bookings, confirmations, and client follow-ups
- Answer phone calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally and warmly
- Explain treatments, pricing, packages, and skincare products
- Help build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Support client acquisition and retention initiatives
- Assist with daily front-desk duties when required
Marketing & Clinic Operations
- Assist with social media content featuring treatments and clinic services
- Support treatment photography and documentation
- Monitor treatment supplies and assist with regular inventory counts
- Help maintain smooth and organized daily clinic operations
Qualifications
- A valid Aesthetician or Medical Aesthetician certificate is required
- Previous hands-on experience as an Aesthetician, preferably in a medical spa or aesthetic clinic
- Hands-on experience with IPL and RF treatments is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of skin conditions, consultations, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional, responsible, and client-focused approach
- Robust organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers, booking platforms, and office software
- Sales experience is an asset
- Fluency in English is required; Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is an asset
Experience with any of the following would be a strong asset:
- Venus Versa Pro or a similar aesthetic platform
- HydraFacial or a similar facial treatment system
- Opatra DOME Pro or a similar skin-analysis device
- Laser hair removal
- IPL skin treatments
- RF treatments and RF microneedling
- Skin rejuvenation and resurfacing treatments
- Body-contouring treatments
- Jane App or a similar booking system

Pay: $18.25-$30.00 per hour
