About the role

D-Wave is seeking a Manager, PCB Manufacturing to lead the day-to-day operations of our specialized PCB manufacturing team supporting the development and production of quantum computing hardware. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, advancing manufacturing capabilities, and preserving the specialized knowledge that underpins D-Wave's superconducting PCB technology.





Working closely with Engineering, Cryogenic Packaging, Supply Chain, Finance, and external manufacturing partners, you will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes while balancing rapid R&D; with reliable production. You will also lead the development of the team, ensuring the long-term sustainability and evolution of this critical manufacturing capability.

What you'll do

Manufacturing Operations

- Lead the day-to-day operations of D-Wave's PCB manufacturing function, ensuring safe, effective, and reliable prototype and production delivery.

- Coordinate manufacturing activities, balancing engineering priorities, production schedules, and resource requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement byoptimizingmanufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing practical quality systems and process controls.

- Preserve and advance D-Wave's specialized PCB manufacturing capabilities by documenting processes,maintainingmanufacturing records, and supporting knowledge transfer.

- Manage work orders, inventory, board revisions, and manufacturing documentation while partnering with Purchasing, Finance, and external suppliers to ensure material availability, quality, and production readiness.
