DDA invites you to become a Community Support Worker in Vancouver, BC, where your contribution truly matters. Support adults with developmental disabilities and engage in fulfilling community activities.
In this permanent full-time role with DDA, you’ll help transform the lives of participants through engaging, community-focused programs. By providing support with daily living activities, you’ll foster independence and build personal relationships with program participants. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing their quality of life through recreational and vocational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming program workplace for participants • Assist individuals with daily living and personal care • Implement individualized support and goal plans • Lead programs designed for varying abilities • Facilitate outreach-based community activities
Requirements: • Relevant degree or diploma in social services • 1-2 years of related experience • Positive communication skills preferred • Criminal and medical record clearance • Willingness to obtain a Restricted Class 4 License
