We are currently looking for a Medical Office Assistant’s (MOA) to join our expanding outpatient clinics in a casual position. Working collaboratively with other clinic teams, you’ll provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients from arrival through departure, checking in patients contributing to clinic readiness. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide Remarkable Care: Welcome patients, complete check-ins, explain exams and procedures, coordinate workflow and guide preparation, maintain accurate records, address questions, ease concerns, and ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Administrative Coordination: Respond to inbound inquiries, maintain an organized patient-ready environment, and assist with other related clerical tasks.
- Support Patient Scheduling: Ensure a seamless booking experience accurately booking diagnostic imaging appointments.
- Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner across departments to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
- Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient experience.
- Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills and build new competencies.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Education:
Diploma in Medical Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Administrative Background: Experience greeting patients and completing check-ins, verifying documentation and maintaining accurate records, with an interest in ongoing skill development.
- Scheduling Expertise: Proven ability to coordinate and book diagnostic imaging or other medical appointments across multiple clinics.
- Patient Coordination Experience: Background supporting workflow in partnership with other clinical teams, preparing and guiding patients throughout their visit, and contributing to the overall clinic readiness.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled using electronic medical record and radiology information systems, and clinical software such as Netcare and QGenda, along with Microsoft Office.
- A Compassionate Approach: A history of remarkable care, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.
- A Continuous Learning Mindset: A track record of ongoing career development.

Additional Information
- Position Types: Casual.
- Work Location: The successful candidate will be expected to work at 14 clinics in Calgary and 1 clinic in Okotoks.
Reliable transportation is required.
- Training: The successful candidate must complete four weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday.
