Job Overview An prospect to join a new medical practice and help us build it from the ground up. We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who is willing to join our team of physicians and help with the administration involved with running a busy clinic. We will be using the MedAccess EMR to start with but then will likely transition to AVA EMR.

Prior experience with these systems is not necessary as we will have a clinic manager who will be able to help learn whatever system we use. The job will involve answering phones and calling patients to book them in and you will be the first person that patients see when they walk in the door. We would like a positive, energetic person to help make every interaction with our clinic the best that it can be.

Other administrative tasks will include sending off referral letters and coordinating a few surgical clinics.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes at the front desk
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using the EMR electronic scheduling system




- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls to appropriate staff or departments
- Manage electronic medical records with accuracy, ensuring all patient information is current and confidential
- Assist with billing for in-office procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure all office supplies are stocked and available

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a medical office setting is not necessary but we need a flexible candidate who is willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and team members
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling tasks

Pay: $21.00-$21.50 per hour
