We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of a medical office, providing administrative support and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Duties

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar

- Maintain electronic medical records
- Assist with billing and insurance processing
- Answer phones, handle inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the office staff
- Maintain consultation rooms and waiting areas by keeping rooms tidy

Skills

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (must)
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset




- Previous use of data entry software and Microsoft excel is considered an asset
- Proficiency in using medical office software
- Strong administrative skills including data entry and filing
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling patient inquiries
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
