About The Role The Microsoft cloud estate has become the operating platform of the Canadian public sector, and the demand PS Consulters sees splits into three recurring specialties: building business solutions on Power Platform, governing information across Microsoft 365, and managing fleets of endpoints through Intune. PS Consulters is building its Microsoft practice bench across all three, for engagements that include specialist retainers with Ontario public sector clients and long-running provincial resource rosters in Atlantic Canada where qualified consultants are called up repeatedly over multi-year terms. Applicants should state their depth in each specialty honestly; the matching process places consultants where they are strong rather than stretching one profile across all three.

Engagements are contracted hourly through PS Consulters at competitive market rates; applicants state rate expectations and specialty depth. Delivery is remote; occasional on-site workshops are possible. Work is delivered in English.

This is an anticipated contract role tied to an active public sector procurement. Start dates depend on award and onboarding timelines. Responsibilities

- Power Platform: Design and build Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate solutions against Dataverse and M365 data
- Power Platform: Establish environment strategy, DLP policies, ALM pipelines, and maker governance
- Power Platform: Rescue and harden maker-built (low-code) apps that have become business-critical
- Information Governance: Design information architecture across SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange
- Information Governance: Implement Microsoft Purview: retention, records management, sensitivity labelling, and DLP
- Information Governance:



Run governance-maturity assessments and adoption programs with measurable outcomes
- Endpoint Management: Design and operate Intune policy sets: enrolment, compliance, configuration, and conditional access
- Endpoint Management: Handle application packaging, Windows servicing rings, and Autopilot provisioning
- Endpoint Management: Support retainer-style arrangements where the client draws on specialist hours as needs arise

Requirements

- 4+ years of hands-on delivery in at least one specialty (Power Platform, Microsoft 365 information governance, or Intune/MEM endpoint management), with specific, referenceable projects
- Solid Microsoft 365 administration fundamentals and PowerShell across workloads
- Consulting-grade communication in English: scoping conversations, status reporting, and documentation
- Experience operating within formal security and change-control regimes

Qualifications

- Legally eligible to work in Canada: Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit
- Available as an incorporated (corp-to-corp) or T4 contractor
- Able to state hourly rate expectations and earliest availability date in the application
- Able to state depth in each specialty honestly; consultants are placed where they are strong

Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications (PL-series, MS-series, or MD-series)
- Public sector tenancy experience, including records obligations and protected-data handling
- Depth in a second specialty
- Experience delivering through standing-offer or roster arrangements
