We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleanup and restoration services following fire, water, mold, or other property damage incidents. This role requires hands-on work in various environments, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to restore properties efficiently and safely. Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties
- Perform water damage and fire restoration services, including removal of damaged materials and cleaning affected areas
- Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to dismantle, repair, or replace damaged structures
- Execute carpet cleaning, cleaning of surfaces, and debris removal to restore properties to pre-loss condition
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of containment areas to prevent cross-contamination
- Follow established safety procedures during all mitigation activities
- Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and properly dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations
Skills
- Experience with cleaning, fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general restoration industry practices is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to operate specialized equipment safely and effectively in various environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and client interactions
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
