Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently to reduce wait times
- Assist healthcare providers with patient documentation, including updating medical records and preparing charts
- Handle phone inquiries, relay messages accurately, and coordinate follow-up appointments
- Support medication administration processes by preparing supplies and ensuring proper documentation (note: actual medication administration is performed by licensed medical personnel)




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinical spaces
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, confidentiality standards, and safety protocols

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical workplace is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of medication administration processes (support role) is an advantage
- Certification or training in healthcare support or medical assisting is desirable but not mandatory
