Job Overview

We are looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Casa Assistant to join our Montessori classroom team.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with young children, is patient and nurturing, and is committed to creating a calm, respectful, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow independently.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Montessori directress with the daily activities and routines of the Casa classroom.
- Support children with their individual needs while encouraging independence and confidence.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Assist with transitions, snack time, outdoor activities, and other daily routines.
- Observe and interact positively with children while supporting their social and emotional development.
- Follow Montessori principles and contribute to a respectful classroom community.
- Communicate professionally and positively with the teaching team and families.

Qualifications

- Experience working with young children is an asset.
- Montessori experience or training is an asset,



but not required.
- A warm, patient, and nurturing personality.
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work effectively in a classroom environment.
- A genuine interest in supporting children's development and independence.

Position: Casa Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Indian Road, Mississauga

Start Date: Sep 1, 2026
