Jeffrey’s Café Co. – Montrose Cultural Centre

Are you looking for a weekday position that fits within school hours? Jeffrey’s Café Co. is seeking a friendly, organized and dependable person to join our team at the Montrose Kiosk.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week

This position is ideal for someone who loves coffee, fresh food and providing friendly customer service. The successful candidate will help manage the day-to-day operation of the kiosk, prepare food and beverages, and ensure the kiosk remains well stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing welcoming and productive customer service
- Preparing sandwiches and other fresh menu items
- Making coffee, espresso-based beverages and other drink orders
- Managing kiosk inventory and monitoring supply levels
- Picking up food, ingredients and supplies from our Mill District restaurant
- Restocking products before the kiosk runs out
- Maintaining a clean, organized and inviting workspace
- Following Jeffrey’s recipes, presentation standards and food-safety procedures
- Accurately processing customer orders and payments




- Communicating supply or operational needs to management

The ideal candidate will:

- Love coffee, fresh food and working with customers
- Be organized, responsible and able to work independently
- Take initiative and recognize what needs to be completed
- Have strong time-management and communication skills
- Be comfortable preparing food and beverages in a busy environment
- Have a valid driver’s licence and their own dependable vehicle
- Be able to safely transport supplies between Jeffrey’s Mill District restaurant and the Montrose Kiosk
- Have previous customer service, café, barista or food-service experience; however, training will be provided
