Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny who is passionate about caring for our 2 year old girl. You can live in, or live out. You will be capable of supporting her development in dynamic environments. This role involves traveling to our house in Mexico (Puerta Vallarta) in the winter and our cottage in Muskoka for a week here and there in the summer.

Provide attentive caregiving, engaging activities, and meal preparation tailored to the children's needs. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while supporting their daily routines and special activities during travel.

Must be willing to perform light housework, simple cooking, laundry and organizing.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive caregiving to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suited to dietary needs and preferences, including meal planning and cooking when necessary
- Assist with educational activities, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity through engaging play and learning exercises




- Support children with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, homework assistance, and bedtime rituals
- Maintain cleanliness of the living areas by performing light cleaning duties related to children’s spaces and belongings
- Travel with the family to Mexico (1-3 months) including the cottage.

Requirements

- Proven nanny experience working with children in various settings, including caregiving or teaching roles
- Ability to cook healthy meals and prepare snacks .
- Strong skills in cleaning and maintaining a tidy setting for children’s safety and comfort
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate caregiving while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents
- Flexibility to travel frequently between locations such as and the cottage, adapting seamlessly to new environments
