Q1 Aviation is looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency by supporting our maintenance technicians and component overhaul shop.Key Responsibilities

- NDT Preparation: Pre-clean, degrease, and prepare aircraft components for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Component Assembly: Assist technicians with the teardown, overhaul, and reassembly of aircraft wheel assemblies.
- Shop Maintenance: Clean, organize, and maintain shop equipment, workstations, and tools to meet safety compliance.
- Logistics Support: Safely move and handle parts and materials around the facility.

Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.




- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict technical manuals.
- Physical capability to lift heavy components and stand for long periods.
- Previous experience in an automotive, manufacturing, or aviation shop is an asset but not required.
