We’re staffing multiple upcoming WQS NDT turnaround projects and looking for qualified CGSB-certified technicians to join our team. We are hiring for the end of August with work anticipated until October. In additional to 6 days on, 1 day off schedule on 12 hour days, we are offering a Senior Technician Turnaround Uplift for UT2 & RT2 technicians, as well as the prospect to have your name entered in a draw to win a 2026 KIA K4 EX.

REFERRAL BONUSES

PAUT Technician $1,500 Candidate Bonus + $1,500 to the referring employee

UT2 or RT2 Certified Technician

$1,000 Candidate Bonus + $1,000 to the referring employee

All Other CGSB-Certified NDT Technicians

$400 Candidate Bonus + $400 to the referring employee

HOW TO QUALIFY

When applying:

- Identify the WQS employee who referred you
- Be successfully hired for an eligible turnaround opportunity
- Attend and successfully complete your scheduled turnaround commitment

Referral bonuses are paid following successful completion of the turnaround assignment. Already worked for WQS before? Former WQS employees may still qualify, provided they are not currently employed by WQS or already in the process of being hired at the time of referral.

Referral program effective August 18, 2026. WQS staff and Project Supervisors and above are not eligible to receive the referring employee bonus.

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (WQS NDT) is currently hiring experienced, proficient, CGSB certified Technicians.

What You Will Bring

- Multi-ticketed CGSB Technicians. Preference will be given to multi-ticketed technicians, however we encourage all interested CGSB technicians to apply.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.
- Solid technical skills and proven track record as a proficient NDT technician
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
- Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
