Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT, Chester Basin Animal Hospital – Chester Basin, NS. Full-time or part-time positions available. Relocation and signing bonus offered.

Responsibilities

- Surgical preparation, assistance and patient recovery
- Anesthesia monitoring and patient safety
- Radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy duties
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their owners
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Problem-solving and the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills with colleagues and pet parents
- Demonstrate a passion to learn and grow within the role
- Share a love for all companion animals

Qualifications

- Have completed a Veterinary Technician program; eligible to register
- Recent graduates welcome; knowledge of physical exams, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy
