Join a team that's building stronger communities every day. I. Job Summary The Plant Supervisor II will supervise the safe and efficient handling and processing of regulated medical waste. This position ensures the plant consistently meets regulatory and safety compliance measures and operates in a productive and profitable manner.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Selects, trains, and develops a safe, effective and efficient staff
- Ensures the plant meets regulatory and safety compliance measures and operates in a productive and profitable manner
- Maintain overall cost control of the plant. Ensures continuous improvement of productivity standards and worker safety performance in all phases of the operation
- Interface proactively with personnel to achieve business goals
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, either internally or externally
- Initiate actions to assure timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions or practices
- Training off all new plant and monthly training of current plant personnel
- Perform periodic facility audits, review of all applicable regulatory paperwork, e.g., biological testing, WW testing, etc.).
- Provides for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- 3 years of related experience and
- 1 year experience managing staff, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment
B. Preferred Qualifications
- Available to work the night shift 11 pm to 7:30 am

Combination: This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field setting and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.
This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
The expected base pay range for this [office/on-site] position is $76.010,00 - $85.000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This position is for an existing vacancy.
