Role Overview

We're looking for a Nokia Fixed Network Solutions Engineer to lead the design, integration, and deployment of Nokia fixed access network products, with a strong focus on OLT and ONT platforms. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on Nokia services experience who's ready to take ownership of end-to-end fixed broadband network projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

● Design and architect fixed access network solutions using Nokia 7360 ISAM FX OLT and 7362 ISAM ONT/ONU platforms

● Lead integration of Nokia fixed access products into existing multi-vendor broadband environments, including coordination with the Nokia Altiplano access controller for service activation

● Perform provisioning, configuration, testing, and turn-up of OLT/ONT equipment across GPON, XGS-PON, and VDSL2 vectoring line cards

● Develop low-level design (LLD) documentation and network diagrams for fixed access deployments

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the fixed access layer, from OLT line termination cards through subscriber-facing ONTs

● Collaborate with client engineering teams, project managers, and Nokia account teams throughout the project lifecycle





● Support capacity planning and network optimization for GPON/XGS-PON deployments

Must-Have Requirement

Minimum 3 years of direct employment with Nokia in a specific Services Delivery team (e.g., Nokia Global Services, Professional Services, or Customer Services Delivery) with hands-on responsibility for fixed access deployments. Candidates without verifiable Nokia employment history in a services delivery capacity will not be considered.

Requirements

● Minimum 5 years of overall experience in fixed network/broadband access engineering

● Minimum 3 years of employment with Nokia in a Services Delivery team, specifically supporting fixed access products (required — see Must-Have Requirement above)

● Hands-on experience designing and integrating Nokia 7360 ISAM FX OLT and 7362 ISAM ONT products

● Working knowledge of the Nokia Altiplano access controller for service and subscriber management

● Solid understanding of GPON/XGS-PON architectures and fixed access network protocols

● Experience with network integration, migration, and cutover planning

● Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills

● Nokia certifications (e.g., NRS, Nokia Fixed Access certifications) a plus

● Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
