Southern Health-Santé Sud is looking for a Health Care Aide for the Bethesda Regional Health Centre. This role involves collaborating under the direction of nursing professionals, meeting residents’ Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Successful candidates will engage in continuous education and maintain competency while providing person-centered care and adhering to established healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care
• Document and report on resident health and wellbeing




• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff on care plans
• Maintain a clean and safe setting for residents
• Enforce safety and privacy legislation in care practices
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace safety
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
