Unison Health and Community Services seeks a Community Health Physician at the Oakwood-Vaughan site to enhance youth health care. This part time position provides the opportunity to impact diverse community needs directly. As a vital member of our team, you will dedicate 14 hours weekly to delivering primary care and education within a harm reduction framework.
Engage with interdisciplinary staff to support youth in areas like mental health and sexual health, addressing social determinants of health through compassionate care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide client-focused primary and walk-in care
- Support youth health education and initiatives
- Collaborate with a diverse health care team
- Manage reproductive health and hormonal therapy
- Deliver follow-up services for medical procedures
Requirements:
- Current medical license to practice in Ontario
- Demonstrated community care experience
- Understanding of socio-cultural health factors
- Willingness to work evening shifts weekly
- Commitment to inclusive and equitable practices
