Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the school division team, serving students with a variety of physical and developmental challenges.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for Manitoba licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Manitoba; pediatric experience is necessary
- Must hold a valid Provisional or Permanent School Clinician Certificate, or be willing to apply through Manitoba Professional Certification Unit
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Ability to provide consultation, collaboration, assessment, program planning and intervention to support students occupations at school including self-care skills, fine motor skills, social play skills, regulation skills and environmental adaptations
- Solid interpersonal skills and collaboration skills to build relationships with school teams, students and their families
- Ability to provide training for school staff related to sensory processing,
regulation and fine motor development
- Ability to model interventions in a one-on-one and classroom setting
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to provide lift and transfer training for staff
Time Employed: September 8, 2026 to June 30, 2027 Pay: $70,379.00-$124,513.00 per year
