We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Ocular Hygienist/Dry Eye Treatment Specialist.

Our Dry Eye

Clinic is growing and we are looking for a Ocular Hygienist who can provide a warm, professional, and patient focused experience. We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our growing team, someone who can assist with patient education and personalized treatment plans for patients.

We offer Lipiscan, Lipiflow, RF and IPL in office and would love to have a team member dedicated to work side by side with the Doctors in providing care for our patients.

Your Role

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ ocular health, focusing on dry eye symptoms and eyelid hygiene needs.
- Perform specialized ocular hygiene treatments, including RF, IPL, lid scrubs and meibomian gland expression.
- Educate patients on dry eye management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and treatment options.
- Assist in developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments using electronic medical records systems
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high standards of patient care and safety during all procedures.




- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dry eye treatments and ocular hygiene techniques to provide up-to-date care.

Requirements

- Prior experience working in a medical office environment, preferably within
- Ophthalmology or Optometry practices.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health and dry eye conditions.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to addressing patient concerns.
- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of pediatric patient care is advantageous for serving diverse age groups effectively.
