Come join the team making Canadian history! About the Role The Operations Finance Advisor will support the finance team with financial and analytical expertise driving focus on value, cost, and risk; support budgeting and reporting; support delivery of Finance activities required for Operations.

You will use your expertise to:

- Provide finance expertise to allocated client groups as we gain operational momentum
- Support planning and budgeting processes and financial assurance events
- Provide capacity to manage big data sets, able to aggregate, summarize and distill trends and variances explanation, run scenarios, and provide management summaries for presentations.
- Support implementation of planning and appraisal software, conversion of data, supporting business to use the new tool, learn to create workflows and reports in the software implemented.
- Provide analytical capacity to finance, value & risk assessment throughout the contracting process for new contracts.
- Understand ERP systems, currently SAP, materials, fixed assets and capital spares accounting, tariffing, and cost allocations and how to be set in the system and analyzed for variances.
- Experience with benchmarking exercises for manufacturing or producing assets will be considered an asset.

To be successful, you will have:

- Experienced and competent finance professional, with a post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, professional accounting designation (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or similar)




- 7-10 years of relevant experience at a comparable level
- Relentless attention to detail and continuous improvement in setting up, testing, and executing finance, controls and accounting policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in good data management and financial software implementation skills.
- Must have advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP system savvy.
- Strong business partnering experience, preferably in project or asset setting.
- Commercial curiosity to fully understand and explore value opportunities.
- Ability to analyze financial and non-financial information and communicate outcomes to people from various backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving and decision modelling skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization, and experience participating in cross-functional initiatives or projects.

This role requires that you:

- Be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
- Know that this role supports our Kitimat operations, and at times overnight travel may be required.

As the largest private-sector investment in Canadian history, LNG Canada is a long-life asset with a 40-year export license. Phase 1 includes two processing units (“trains”) with a combined capacity of 14 million tonnes per annum (mtpa).
