Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility in Milton to ensure efficient production, quality control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, managing teams, and meeting production targets while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations including blow molding, blending and filling.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Manage product structures, manufacturing process and changes in the process when new products are introduced to the site.




- Working closely with inventory team to improve the Material Usage Variance for liquid and packaging materials.
- Involved in capital projects to ensure effective installation of new machinery and systems.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
- Manage and improve communication tools to ensure alignment between all departments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, HR, and finance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Maintain equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and safety standards.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
