Sterk Home Services is building a different kind of home services company.

We're a membership-based home maintenance company giving homeowners one trusted team to call for the ongoing care, maintenance and repair of their home.

We're looking for an Operations Supervisor who wants to help us build it.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands homes, enjoys solving problems, communicates exceptionally well with customers, and has the ambition to grow into a leadership position as the company grows.

You might currently work in renovations, construction, property maintenance, restoration or residential service. You might even be running your own small contracting or handyman business and have realized you love the work more than chasing leads, quoting jobs and collecting invoices.

We're less concerned about your job title today than we are about what you're capable of becoming.

What You'll Do

You'll be one of the primary faces of Sterk in our members' homes.

Your days will include

- Visiting members' homes to assess maintenance and repair needs
- Completing general handyman and home maintenance work
- Troubleshooting problems and determining the best solution
- Identifying when specialized trades are required
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades
- Ensuring outside work meets Sterk's standards before a job is considered complete
- Communicating clearly with members throughout their projects
- Gathering photos, measurements and information required for estimates
- Helping schedule and coordinate field work
- Completing preventative home maintenance and inspections
- Handling small warranty items and callbacks




- Helping improve our systems and field operations as we grow

Some days you'll have tools in your hands. Other days you'll be meeting a plumber at a member's home, assessing a new project, checking completed work or helping coordinate several jobs.

- Has practical residential construction, renovation or home maintenance experience
- Understands how homes are built and how to troubleshoot common problems
- Is comfortable completing general handyman work
- Communicates exceptionally well with homeowners
- Takes ownership when something needs to get done
- Is organized and comfortable managing multiple projects
- Notices details others miss
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Is eager to learn
- Wants responsibility and the opportunity to grow

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with initiative. Someone who doesn't need to be told every next step.

Requirements

- Residential construction, renovation, maintenance or related experience
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable using technology for scheduling, photos and job documentation
- Ability to perform physical residential maintenance and repair work
- Reliable, qualified and organized

Where This Can Go We're not hiring someone simply to complete a list of work orders.

We're looking for someone who can become an important part of Sterk.

Initially, you'll be hands-on: working in homes, solving problems, coordinating trades and taking care of members.

As we grow, we want this person to grow with us—helping lead technicians, supervise trades, improve operations and eventually take on greater responsibility within the company.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
