Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Optical Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored optical product or service recommendations. This role is essential in driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term client relationships.

The Optical Sales

Advisor will play a key role in representing our brand professionally and positively influencing the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, understand their vision needs and style preferences, and guide them in selecting appropriate eyeglass frames and lens enhancements.
- Technical Fitting & Adjustments: Measure pupillary distance, adjust frames for comfort and fit, and perform minor repairs to eyewear.
- Order Processing: Enter customer prescriptions, order lenses and frames through lab portals, and verify the accuracy of finished products.
- Insurance & Billing: Verify vision insurance benefits, process payments via POS systems, and handle billing.
- Product Expertise: Educate customers on lens types, coatings (anti-reflective, blue light), and frame materials, staying updated on eyewear trends.




- Inventory & Store Maintenance: Maintain, restock, and organize the showroom floor and display cases.

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail optical sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling transactions and maintaining displays.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
- Basic proficiency with POS systems, computers, or tablets is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed are essential qualities for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
