We are looking to hire an optometric assistant for a Part Time position (Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM)

Medical receptionist experience is recommended.

The ideal candidate must

- be organized, independent, detail oriented and reliable
- be enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing and confident
- be capable and excited to work in a rapid paced and team based environment
- be enthusiastic to learn and have the motivation to continually improve oneself
- be able to think of your feet and take initiative

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- work directly with patients throughout their visit including greeting them at the door, checking them in, training, submitting to insurance etc.
- scheduling appointments and follow ups.
- perform preliminary testing on patients for doctors (training provided)
- educate customers on product and services
- answer questions and help other staff around the office where needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
