Join Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc. as a full-time Program Facilitator in Arts & Recreation. This role centers on nurturing youth through education and hands-on activities.
In this position, you will assist in planning and implementing diverse youth programs. Key responsibilities include developing skills through hands-on learning, building trusting relationships, and ensuring the well-being of participants. You will respond to emergent situations while collaborating with your colleagues to provide an enriching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate curriculum-based skill development for youth
• Develop positive relationships rooted in respect and trust
• Support youth participation in a protected and engaging environment
• Maintain documentation of program interactions and statistics
• Work closely with programming staff to meet youth needs
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Level C CPR and First Aid Certification
• Relevant educational background in social development
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with Indigenous communities
